No donation is too large or too small. We will have your wine appraised by one of North America’s leading wine experts, Robert Jull. Once you see the evaluations, you can then decide whether you would like to donate. If you choose to make a donation, you will receive a receipt for income tax purposes for the full appraised value of your wine.
Stocks, Bonds, or Mutual Funds
Stocks, Bonds and Mutual Funds – no capital gains tax! If you donate stocks, bonds or mutual funds to Music and Beyond, you will not have to pay capital gains tax on this investment, but you will receive a charitable tax receipt for its full value! As with any donation, if you can’t use all of the deduction in one year, you can carry over the remainder for the next five years.
